These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Public Square Analytics LLC (“Public Square Analytics,” “we,” “us”) governing your access to and use of the GovFeeds website and application (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
The Service
GovFeeds is a research and analytics product that lets users search and benchmark public Facebook activity of U.S. local-government accounts. It is provided for informational and professional use. GovFeeds is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Meta Platforms, Inc. or any government entity.
Accounts & trials
You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Free trials run for the stated period and require no credit card; they end automatically unless you subscribe.
Subscriptions & payment
Paid plans are billed in advance — monthly ($50/month) or annually ($500/year) — through our payment processor, Stripe. Monthly plans are month-to-month and may be cancelled at any time; cancellation stops future billing and takes effect at the end of the current period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service — including by attempting to disrupt it, scrape or resell the underlying data in bulk, reverse-engineer it, or use it for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Data & intellectual property
The GovFeeds software, design, and compiled datasets are the property of Public Square Analytics. Subscribers may use outputs (reports, visualizations, exports) for their own internal and professional purposes. Underlying posts originate from public sources and remain subject to their original rights.
Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. While we work to keep the data accurate and current, we do not guarantee it is complete or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Public Square Analytics is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the preceding twelve months.
Changes & governing law
We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date, and continued use constitutes acceptance. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
