Privacy Policy

Last updated June 2026. Operated by Public Square Analytics LLC.

This policy explains how Public Square Analytics LLC (“Public Square Analytics,” “we,” “us”) handles information in connection with the GovFeeds website (govfeeds.com) and application (app.govfeeds.com).

The short version

  • We sell a benchmarking and research product. We don’t sell your personal information.
  • The data inside GovFeeds is drawn from public Facebook posts published by government accounts — the same posts any resident can see. We don’t access private or non-public data.
  • We collect only what we need to run the service and improve the site.

Information we collect

Account information. When you start a trial or subscribe, we collect your name, email, and the jurisdiction or organization you represent. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers.

Usage information. When you use the application, we log activity (such as searches and views) to operate the product, prevent abuse, and improve it.

Website analytics. On govfeeds.com we use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic (pages visited, general location, device type). This uses cookies or similar technologies. You can opt out using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or your browser’s cookie controls.

How we use information

  • To provide, secure, and improve GovFeeds.
  • To communicate with you about your account, and — if you opt in — to send the GovFeeds newsletter (you can unsubscribe anytime).
  • To understand and improve how the website and product are used, in aggregate.

Sharing

We share information only with service providers that help us run GovFeeds (for example, Stripe for payments, our email/newsletter provider, hosting providers such as Hostinger and DigitalOcean, and Google Analytics), and where required by law. We do not sell personal information.

Data retention & security

We keep account information for as long as your account is active and as needed to comply with our obligations. We take reasonable measures to protect information, though no method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

Your choices

You can access or update your account information, unsubscribe from emails, and request deletion of your account data by emailing us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal information.
